I’m a HUGE Steven King fan and one of the creepiest adaptations of his books (for me) is The Shining! I get shivers every time I think of the deranged face of Jack hacking through the door with his axe, peering in and exclaiming, “Heeeere’s Johnny!”
So when the angels showed me that scene, and told me that I needed to talk to you about how to manifest, I was like “huh??”
Then I put two and two together and it totally made sense so let me break it down for you.
Jack is an author who takes his family to a secluded mountain resort in the dead of winter to write a novel. His wife stumbles upon his manuscript and sees that all he has written is “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” over and over and over again and realizes he’s gone stark raving mad (hence the scene with the axe).
But here’s what it all means. When you work, work, work and keep pushing FUN off as something that’s a “nice to do” not a “need to do” you actually create a block to getting what you want in life.
Why? Because when you are having fun, your vibration is extremely high. And when you are vibrating in that range, you are like a magnet to attract great things into your life.
I know that may seem kind of “airy-fairy” but here’s how you can look at it. Do you ever notice that when you are super excited about something you feel like you’re almost buzzing or vibrating with electricity or energy? Well that’s what I mean about emotions carrying a vibrational frequency. And by the Universal Law of Attraction, the vibration that we emit is what is returned to us.
So in English….if you want more great things to come into your life, you have
to be emitting a frequency that matches good things and that happens when you feel joy, happiness, fun, passion, excitement, love, gratitude etc. All these emotions carry very high frequencies so doing things that make you feel these emotions is HELPFUL not a time waster.
I explain it all in this week’s video so take a look.
Still not convinced? Then just take a look around. Chances are you know someone, or OF someone who seems to do very little and yet seems to have everything. These are the people who have figured out this little secret….have fun, and the rest of the stuff seems to fall into place almost on its own. Because remember, when you strive and push for something and TRY to make it happen, it will only allude you. (You can go back and read my past article, When the Going Gets Tough, Surrender, for more on that).
So crumple up that to-do list and get out from behind your desk. Go ahead and have some FUN and let the Universe handle the rest.
